Composite Fire Doors from Colin’s Sash Windows
We have a great range of external fire doors for flats. There aren’t many composite fire doors available that are tested for fire AND security. We believe we have the best available. They look like a normal high quality composite door but with added protection.
Our composite fire doors are crafted with a unique timber hybrid structure. The core of the door leaf is solid timber, enhanced with Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) skins on both sides, ensuring durability, longevity, and minimal maintenance.
GRP is chosen for its lightweight yet high-strength properties, outperforming many alternative materials.
The door frame features a central timber core encased in a UPVC outer layer, providing not only robustness in fire and security situations but also ensuring long-lasting performance with easy upkeep. They are certified as FD30S for your peace of mind.
All our external FD30S composite fire doors are Dual Scope Third Party Certificated for Fire and Security and SBD accredited to BS476 Part 22 and PAS24 Warrington Certifire Scheme. Tested for cold smoke leakage to BS EN 1634-3. They comply with the latest certification of fire protection doors and have been fire tested both sides.
As an additional option we offer a surface mounted fire door closer by Assa Abloy. We pre prepare the door and frame for easy and accurate installation.
